Clinic at the Royal Children's Hospital

Child Neuropsychologists examine how conditions influencing brain function affect a child’s intelligence, learning, memory and behaviour. We provide diagnosis and intervention strategies to promote these children’s’ developmental function academically, socially and in the family context. We see children with a range of conditions, including:

  • Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder
  • Learning disorders or difficulties (e.g. ‘dyslexia’)
  • Autism spectrum disorders
  • Intellectual disability
  • Neurological disorders, e.g. epilepsy, brain tumours
  • Acquired brain injury
