Dr Amy Gray


Dr Amy Gray is a general paediatrician with broad interests in looking after children from birth to adolescence. In addition to private practice she works in the Department of Medicine at the Royal Children’s Hospital, and in medical education and international child health at the University of Melbourne.

Amy manages a wide range of medical problems including acute and chronic conditions such as asthma, eczema, growth, developmental delay, infants, urinary tract infections, constipation, continence, challenging behaviour and adolescent health. In other aspects of her professional work she is interested how to improve the health care of children in both high and low-resource settings. Her PhD was focussed on improving hospital care in Lao PDR and she is currently working in the Department of Paediatrics, University of Melbourne on how we can improve the way we educate doctors. She is heavily involved in the teaching and supervision of undergraduate and post-graduate students.
