Peter is a Paediatric Rheumatologist and General Paediatrician currently holding appointments at both the Royal Children’s Hospital and Monash Children’s Hospital. Peter studied medicine at the University of Melbourne before training in Paediatrics at the Royal Children's Hospital. Peter's Paediatric Rheumatology training was completed at the Royal Children's Hospital and the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto, Canada.
 
Peter teaches undergraduate medical students and postgraduate Rheumatology and Paediatric trainees. He is actively involved in Rheumatology and Paediatric research at the Royal Children’s Hospital and Monash Children’s Hospital.
 
Peter has a particular interest in juvenile idiopathic arthritis, juvenile dermatomyositis, periodic fever syndromes and paediatric autoimmune disease such as vasculitis and SLE.
