Hiep is a Respiratory and Sleep Paediatrician. After graduating from Monash University, he trained through The Royal Children’s Hospital where he completed his General Paediatrics and Respiratory fellowships. He is specialising further in Sleep Medicine.

Hiep maintains broad expertise in the care of lung, airway and sleep disorders in children. These include asthma, chronic cough, shortness of breath, snoring and sleep apnoea. He is a great listener and values working collaboratively with families to explore their child’s concerns.

Beyond clinical medicine, he is completing a PhD in the area of Cystic Fibrosis. His research is fuelled by a fascination for how the mind and mental wellbeing can influence respiratory health outcomes. He is a passionate educator, enthusiastic to share all things lung related with fellow health professionals and community groups. Hiep also contributes to the public health space with a particular focus on matters affecting adolescents and young adults.
