Colin is a paediatric respiratory and sleep physician. He currently has appointments as a Consultant Physician in Respiratory Medicine at the Royal Children’s Hospital, a Professorial Fellow in Paediatrics at the University of Medicine and Research Fellow at the Murdoch Children’s Research Institute. His clinical interests include the broad range of respiratory problems with a special interest in asthma, cough and exercise induced symptoms.
Colin trained in paediatric respiratory medicine in London and Toronto before joining Respiratory Medicine at RCH in 1984. Colin has published widely and has a keen interest in clinical research in early determinants of disease in children and implementation of new therapies. His broader research interests range from respiratory epidemiology, through respiratory physiology to trials improving the clinical management of paediatric respiratory disorders, particularly asthma and cystic fibrosis.
