Fiona has worked with children and families with a broad range of difficulties for over 18 years. Her experience spans a range of settings, including mental health and early intervention. In addition to working in private practice, Fiona coordinates the Specialist Autism Team at the Royal Children’s Hospital and is engaged in teaching and lecturing.
Fiona works with toddlers through to teenagers with a range of emotional and behavioural challenges. She has a special interest in anxiety and autism spectrum disorders and loves engaging children in a playful manner. She co-authored the best selling Creative Ways to Help Children Manage Big Feelings and her second book, which focuses on helping children with anxiety, will be published in 2020.
