Rowena is an
experienced clinical psychologist who at CPMG works with children, adolescents,
and families to assist with a broad range of emotional, behavioural,
developmental, and learning concerns; she provides assessment, therapy, and
parenting support.
Rowena has previously held clinical appointments across a number of settings,
including Westmead Hospital (Sydney), The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia,
and for 10 years, The Royal Children’s Hospital (Melbourne), where she was a
Senior Clinical Psychologist and Coordinator of Education and Training in
Psychology. For several years Rowena has also coordinated Postgraduate Child
Clinical Psychology teaching at the University of Melbourne.
Areas of clinical expertise include: anxiety, depression, ADHD, autism,
learning difficulties, and behavioural concerns. Rowena also has interests in helping
families to cope with chronic illness and developmental disability, with trauma
and grief, and with adjustment to other significant life events.
