Dr Robert Sloane

MBBS MRCP FRACP

Rob is a General and Developmental Paediatrician who has worked at the Royal Children’s Hospital for 30 years. He trained at the Royal Children’s Hospital, worked as a lecturer in child health at London University, then returned to Melbourne to work in the department of general medicine and private practice.

He has published research in the investigation of urinary tract infections in infants and children, and has a particular interest in the growth and development of infants.

Rob has two adult children and three new grandchildren, and his interests include music, cycling, and walking.

Dr Sloane will be retiring on December 4th 2018. Ongoing care for his patients can be provided by the group of General Paediatricians in The Children’s Private Medical Group.
